Eddy Current Separator always used for sorting metals like Al、Copper、Zinc etc at site with quite harsh environment which is dirty or dusty, sometime even work our door. So regular 

maintenance for eddy current separator after a period of operation is quite necessary, below are some advice we recommend for users of eddy current separator.

1. The most important part for the eddy current separator to achieve the eddy current separation is the rare earth magnet rotor which always rotates at 3000rmp speed.

Need to pay extra attention to the lubrication of rotor bearing, we use SKF bearing and SKF Auto-Lubrication can, so the lubrication for this rotor bearing is automatic,but the working stuff have to check the lubrication oil level and feeding speed to make sure the bearing have enough but not too much of oil. Too much and not enough lubrication oil both will cause high temperature of bearing during operation, thanks for our great dynamic balancing or rotor, the bearing temp will only increase within 30 degrees compare to the ambient temperature during full speed operation.

2. Belts of eddy current separator is made of PVC or PU which is conveying material to the eddy current separation area. The surface of belts may have scratches caused by material, need to check and clean the belts on regular base. Thanks to our eccentric rotor design, the separation of eddy current area is clean and clear eject line, the belts always can last for years.

3. Blots of eddy current separator after long time operation ,some place may got lose, in order to let machine working properly and safely, regular bolts checking and fasten are required.

4. Clean the control cabinet of eddy current separator after long time operation is necessary due to the harsh working environment. Recommend to use air gun or other vacuum machine to do the job.
