Introduction:
CHNMAG Drum Magnet is a separation machine designed for the continuous extraction of ferrous metal contamination from dry bulk material. Material is fed uniformly to the drum magnet from a conveyor, vibration feeder or chute, ensuring continuous metal contamination removal.
Working Principle
As the outer stainless steel shell rotates, clean product material is allowed to free fall through the one side, while powerful magnets hold ferrous contamination to the point where the magnetism ends, discharging the metal trough the other side.

Top Feeding Drum Magnet is applicable for ferrous contamination materials are small or fine size, the magnet system of drum magnet will catch the ferrous pieces for particles when the material feeding on to the drum magnet surface, then material will stick to the drum magnet surface, rotates to the area where there is no magnetic field and finish the discharging of ferrous material.
Bottom Feeding Drum Magnet Separator is efficient in handling large volumes of large size material encountered in scrap processing and mineral concentration applications where there is a need to extract ferrous parts from material stream such as scrap Shredding ,slag reclamation ,tramp iron removal ,ore cobbing.
Drum Magnet with Housing is a standard up feeding drum magnet with stainless steel housing to cover all the machine, all the separation action will be processed within the housing, so there will be no dust or material splash out, the up feeding inlet and bottom outs can be connect to the pipe line or chute to fit in the existing system where small ferrous materials need to be sorted out.
